Robert Peterson
Your Hawaii Real Estate Agent
Hawai’i is one of my favorite places on Earth. I have a private pilot’s license, and I love flying above and around the islands. I love the music. My father passed his love of it down to myself and my children. And the local food. Kalua pig, lau lau, lomi salmon and poi, it doesn’t get any better than that.
I am a proud father of three beautiful children and want to be able to teach them about real estate, too, so that they can understand its value and what it takes to provide this service to others. Whether you’re representing the buyer or the seller, I think it’s very rewarding.
Not only do I have a keen eye for seeing a house, my extensive experience allows me to mentor my clients and educate them on the process. They’re investing in their own security and equity. Naturally, they’ll have a lot of questions about the reality of investing in their starter home and how they can build up to their next property down the line in a few years.
We help put together a fantastic team to help smooth the process whether they’re buying or selling. I think it’s the greatest thing when buyers pick up their keys and open the door for the first time realizing it’s now their own personal residence.
When a client is looking at several decades worth of mortgage payments, they want to be sure that they are making the right decision. And when they become a first-time seller, they want to know that they are getting a great deal for their home, a place where they have spent a significant portion of their lives building memories.
There are all these small parts that come together in the end. Everybody that is behind the scenes works to make that their home. It’s very exciting.
The industry has changed over the years. At one point there were so many foreclosed properties on the market, but now the market is so competitive. There are so many buyers out there but not enough inventory. The construction industry has had to step up and meet that demand.
I hope that my legacy will be one that whether it was my children or my customers or my family and friends, they’ll know that if they came to me they could always get a straight answer and honest answer that I’d not steer anyone in the wrong direction.
